Hercules, The son of god Zeus of ancient Greece, is one of the heroes and symbols of strength and gallantry in the world.
There is a statue of him in Bistoon of Kermanshah. The olive wreath also known as Kotinos, which was the prize for the winner at the ancient Olympic Games, and lion are two elements which usually accompanies his statues which we can find in Bistoon Statue as well.
There is also an epigraph in old Greek script. The Hercules statue belongs to Seleucid period which was the period of Greece reign in old Persia.
Farhad Tarash is a huge carved wall in the Bistoon of Kermanshah, Iran. Farhad Tarash or Takht-e- Farhad is one of Iran's national historical monuments trace back to Sassanid period. The gigantic engraved wall is approximately in 36 meters height and 200 meters width. There are different ideas about the carving incentive of the wall. The love story of Takht-e-Farhad has particular place in Farsi literature.

Moaven -Ol- Molk Tekieh is a splendid and wonderful relic of Qajar reign which is built by Hossein Khan Moeeno-roaya in 1897. This Tekieh is located in the old district of the City of Kermanshah. Moaven -Ol- Molk Tekiehis known as the masterpiece of Islamic architecture. The special and impressive unique tile work of the Tekieh is the reason of its fame and uniqueness in the world. There are many tile pictures in the building which is included the pictures of ancient Persia mythology, depictions of religious events, significant religious and political characters. Some people know this Tekiehas illustrated history of Iran and Islam. There are also two museums in Moaven -Ol- Molk site; anthropology Museum and Local Clothing Museum.
Taq-e-Gara or Taq-e-Shirin is a stone structure situated in the Patagh ghat 15 km away from Sarpol-e Zahab. There are different views about the antiquity of its construction. It’s apparently related to late Sassanid reign. The exact usage of Taq-e-gara structure is not accurately known yet, however some of the conjectures suggest that it could be a memorial monument of the construction of the road, a Caravanserai, a royal Tower/throne, a Military outpost of boarders or a memorial monument of victory. Patagh locals call Taq-e-Gara as Taq-e-Shirin for the reason that they believe it’s an Arch of Love which Farhad, the famous lover in Persian .literature had built it for Shirin, the famous beloved of Nizami Ganjavi’s poems. Inside walls are craved with geometric patterns
Piran or Rijaab waterfall is one of the most beautiful natural attractions of Sarpol- e zahab in Kermanshah province. The Height of this waterfall is about 180 meter in 3 steps. The headwaters is in Rijaab and it descends in a verdures and eyeful region in Piran village. Piran is one the highest waterfalls in Iran.
