Vally mansion or castle was built in command of Gholam Reza Khan, one of the Qajar governors, in Ilam. The architecture of the building dates back to Qajar period.
Today it is surviving as a museum of Anthropology which attractively represents the clothes and lifestyle of the people of Ilam province in black tents, and also some of thier professions and different ceremonies. pleasant spring weather, old trees, mirror decorated ceilings, tegular lattice fences, colorful lattice windows and painted columns altogether make this historical place an eye catching attraction for visitors.
Qalaqiran mountain is located 3 km from #Ilam. Although its height is only a little more than 2 thousand, It has one of the most beautiful natural sceneries in Iran. Its particular figure is a symbol of Ilam. Qalaqiran has been mentioned in folklore literature and poetry..
Tangeh Raziane is located in a part of Ilam's road to Dare-Shahr. This canyon is a deep groove in the ground hiding a world inside. natural phenomena like Tectonic movements and erosion caused its creation. That deepened more and more over time because of dissolution,creating a terrific natural effect. There's water inside the canyon where it's very difficult to go through. The name of the canyon comes from the herb of fennel/Razianeh
Zingan cave ,Saleh-Abad, Ilam; being roofless made it more like a canyon but It is known as a cave in the area. Its length is more than 1 km and it contains natural cressets and corridors. One has to go through water to walk inside the canyon. Compared to the tropical area where it is located ,the weather inside the canyon is cool and pleasant.
The archaeological site of Seymare is located in the vicinity of Darre-shahr city in #Ilam province, Iran. Seymare is the largest archeological site of Ilam. It dates back to late Sassanid and early Islamic era and believed to be the old Madakto city. Seymare was destroyed and deserted after a catastrophic earthquake in the 3rd century. Valuable artifacts were discovered in this site and are exhibited in Darre-shahr 's archeological museum.
